Logistics Manager

We’re partnered with a well-established international group looking to hire a Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics, import/export, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations across their UAE entities.
Based in Dubai, this role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth movement of goods, equipment, and materials across both Mainland and JAFZA operations.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands UAE customs, JAFZA procedures, and international freight operations inside out.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing daily logistics and supply chain operations across international and local shipments
- Coordinating sea freight, air freight, and land transportation
- Overseeing customs clearance and JAFZA documentation processes
- Managing freight forwarders, transport companies, shipping lines, and logistics partners
- Reviewing shipping documentation including BLs, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Monitoring shipment timelines, cargo movement, and delivery schedules
- Supporting cost control, reporting, and logistics process improvements
- Working closely with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Project teams
What they’re looking for
- 5-7+ years experience within logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or supply chain operations
- Strong hands-on experience with JAFZA operations and UAE customs regulations
- Experience managing international freight operations across sea, air, and land transport
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation and customs compliance
- ERP systems exposure and strong excel skills
- Highly organised with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or project-driven environments is highly preferred
