We’re partnered with an international group looking to appoint a Head of Finance – Middle East to lead the full finance function across their UAE and Qatar entities.
Based in Dubai, this role combines hands-on operational finance leadership with strategic business planning, cashflow management, reporting, pricing, and commercial decision support.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, partnering closely with leadership teams, and operating within a fast-paced international environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the finance and accounting function across multiple Middle East entities
- Managing and developing a team of 6–7 finance professionals
- Preparing annual financial statements and overseeing audits
- Managing cashflow, liquidity forecasting, and working capital
- Supporting pricing, margin analysis, and commercial planning
- Delivering monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Supporting pricing, margin analysis, and commercial planning
- Managing payroll, accruals, and UAE labour law compliance
- Partnering closely with operational teams and international headquarters
What they’re looking for
- 7–10+ years’ finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong UAE finance experience across Mainland and Freezone entities
- Experience preparing annual financial statements independently
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and UAE Labour Law
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-driven businesses preferred
- Strong ERP systems exposure and advanced Excel capabilities
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working within international or German-headquartered environments is advantageous
